5 Ways to Spring Clean Your Glow

The birds are chirping, the layers are coming off, and—if you’re like me—your skin might still be feeling a little "winter-weary." After months of dry heaters and cold winds, our skin is ready for a fresh start!
Spring is all about renewal. Here are four simple ways to transition your skincare routine for the warmer days ahead:
1. Out With the Old (Exfoliate!)
Winter leaves behind a layer of dry, dead skin cells that can make your complexion look dull. A gentle exfoliant will sweep that away, revealing the fresh, glowing skin underneath. It’s like opening the windows to let the breeze in!
2. Lighten Your Layers
Just like you swap your heavy wool coats for denim jackets, your skin needs lighter layers too. Switch from those heavy, thick winter creams to a lightweight, water-based moisturizer that provides hydration without feeling greasy in the Florida humidity.
3. Spring Clean Your Brushes
When was the last time you gave your makeup brushes and sponges a deep clean? Germs and old product build-up can cause breakouts. Give them a good soak in some gentle cleanser so you’re starting the season with a literal clean slate.
4. Don’t Forget the SPF
The sun is getting stronger! Whether you’re headed to the farmer's market or just sitting by the window, make sure your SPF is part of your daily "outfit."
5. Hydrate from the Inside Out
As the temperature rises, your body loses moisture faster. Transitioning your routine isn't just about what you put on your skin, but what you put in your body. Swapping heavy winter lattes for infused water or seasonal fruits like strawberries and cucumbers will help keep that "spring glow" consistent and long-lasting.
🌸 Something Big is Blooming...
I have been working on something special to help us all get that spring glow together. I’m not ready to share all the details just yet, but let’s just say there might be a Skincare Contest on the horizon!
Think of it as a fun way to refresh your routine and maybe win some of my favorite treats in the process.
